When it comes to keeping warm it is import to start with a good base layer. Outside is Colorido’s 210g fine cut Merino Wool comfortable, light and warm.  Inside, the Bamboo is high moisture absorption, anti-microbial and very breathable.

Viscose from Bamboo makes an incredible soft feel on sensitive skin.  The Colorido Base Layer Set is excellent for skiing, playing outside and inclusive as a pijama because the children don’t want to take it off!

• MUSELING FREE MERINO: Mulesing is a practice in which skin is removed from the rear of the Merino sheep (mainly in Australia and New Zealand) to avoid cause infections trow fly eggs. We have contracts that guarantee that the wool we source is mulesing free.
• RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARD (RWS): RWS label is based on the “Five Freedoms”.

• AZO FREE: Azo dyes are one of the main types of dye used by the textile industry.  They are known to be potential carcinogens. These substances also may adversely affect the activity and attention of children.
• OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100: Tested for Toxic Chemicals. This label certifies that every component of the product, from the fabric to the thread and accessories, has been rigorously tested against a list of up to 350 toxic chemicals.
• AMFORI BSCI: We work with to encourage our factories to safeguard the social & working conditions of the people who produce our products (Fair Trade).
